Acceptance of Terms

By using Blindrop, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service Description

Blindrop is a zero-knowledge secret sharing service that allows users to share encrypted text-based secrets via self-destructing links. Secrets are encrypted in the browser and we cannot access the plaintext content.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Blindrop to share:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Content that violates any applicable law
• Stolen credentials, personal data, or financial information obtained illegally
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Threats, harassment, or content intended to harm others

While our zero-knowledge architecture means we cannot monitor content, we reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement and terminate access for users who violate these terms.

Service Limitations

• Maximum secret size: 10KB
• Maximum views: 10 per secret
• Maximum expiration: 7 days
• Rate limiting: 10 requests per minute per IP address

No Guarantee of Availability

Blindrop is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Secrets may be deleted before their configured expiration due to technical issues, maintenance, or other reasons.

No Recovery

Due to our zero-knowledge design, we cannot recover secrets if you lose the link or decryption key. We cannot extend expiration times or restore deleted secrets. You are responsible for sharing links securely and in a timely manner.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blindrop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blindrop and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
